Our History

In 1903 the Sisters of the Holy Cross founded Mount Carmel School of Nursing. In 1990 we transitioned into Mount Carmel College of Nursing, offering the Bachelor of Science in Nursing; in 2013 we expanded to offer a Master of Science degree; and in 2015 the Doctor of Nursing Practice, the highest clinical practice degree in the field.
